This hipster barbie Instagram account does a great job of mocking the unoriginal, stereotypical and tremendously “authentic” posts that we see on Instagram every day. Each photo features an avalanche of hashtags and a superficially wise quote with a healthy dose of sarcasm for people who take their Instagrams too seriously.
The creator of the Instagram account, a wedding photographer, has chosen to remain anonymous, but she’s definitely worth following on Instagram at @socalitybarbie.

This post so great!!!! Barbie to epitomize the narssisist society we live in today. It's funny to think that all the people who do this really think that people care bout their daily lives? So indulgent. It's like the person who has to tell you they are rich or have a high powered job---it's so much more intriguing to find out things about people on your own. When you feel the need to have to share everything with everyone, you come across immature, shallow, and self-absorbed. Keeping yourself private and a bit of a mystery --now that's really intriguing and appealing these days.

They actually DO. Have SEEN the like count those people get just for being beautiful (physically, though they make the mistake of thinking it's for their internal beauty). But by golly, post something with ACTUAL thought in it, and not be physically beautiful, and watch your like count go up to like, 3.
yet these people still have insane amounts of followers on Insta. So if nobody cares of their daily life, why do people still follow them?
Possibly because so many people don't HAVE lives? I mean look at all those who follow some of the nuts on the right wing, or the Kardashians...

Funny Barbie, nice idea!! 😀😀However I find it rather inspirational....its always nice to see travels, nature, inspirational quotes and people trying to better themselves living a fulfilling adventurous life; having healthy starts in the morning, adventure and travels , aspirations etc! Those cussing, annoyed, pissed off or judging could ask themselves if they might be a tad envious or resentful? Also this NOT just a hipster thing. In the meantime GO BARBIE 😀😀
