2.6Mviews
Nothing makes high school more of a miserable experience than a terrible teacher. We all had that one class that we dreaded walking into because we knew they’d be there. This former student was berated and bullied by his algebra teacher throughout his senior year, but decided to put an end to it, and is now sharing his incredible story of revenge almost 16 years later.
The Reddit user (Johnny_Provolone) who posted the cautionary tale was only 18 when it all happened, and went on to graduate with the class of 2001. He is now 34 and is studying diesel mechanics. His post has gone viral on Reddit’s ProRevenge thread, garnering a whopping 26.8 thousand upvotes.
Read the entire story to the end below, and share your own revenge experience in the comments.

I guess he wasn't quite as 'dumb' or 'slow' as Mrs. Frank thought, was he?
well it did take half a year before he did something
In 10 years nobody else did
I went to school in Detroit Michigan and in the second grade i had a teacher who threw erasers at kids in my class and she hit the wall with one of those pointers used for maps. One little boy wanted to go to the bathroom but she did not let him. Later we found out that he went home with wet pants in the dead of winter...this was second grade!!! I was really scarred of her. I begged my mom not to make me go to school one day so she went to the principle. The principle called the teacher down to here office and as the story goes I hid behind the principles skirt. She wasn't there the next year but the damage was done to us kids. If teachers are hateful they need to resign because they hate their jobs.
My grandma had a similar experience, but she peed on the floor. The janitor yelled at the teacher when he came and cleaned the mess. I wouldn't have the nerve in grade school, but in HS if I was denied permission I would just stand up and leave the room.
I had a similar situation in Kindergarten. I needed to use the restroom but I was so afraid of my overbearing teacher that I didn't say anything. I ended up peeing on the floor and was reprimanded. Another adult in the room (not sure who, maybe a student teacher) was very understanding, told me not to worry, and that it was okay. Forty-five years on and I still have that memory. Thanks to that kind, understanding adult the memory isn't too traumatic. But many teachers need to understand that things like this really stick with kids and affect how they feel about themselves.
good for u!
What I like about it is that it immediately feels like justice. What I do not like about it is the stressing of the revenge aspect in it. If we would make everyday a strive for justice but never seek revenge, the world would be a better place.
It's not "revenge" for the teacher to be fired and blackballed from the profession. She never should have been within hailing distance of any student, anywhere, ever. I've run into teachers like her before, both as a student and as a teacher. What they do is child abuse and it can have lifelong effects.
I agree with you generally, but the post is titled "ruined ... career" and not "saved me and other students", which is same in effect but different in attitude!
Now recaptioned even to "destroys ... career". I would better like "stops ... from doing more harm". Always try to be positive!
You are totally right....the definition of teaching: https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/teach
I agree with you Hans. Particularly when it comes to the title. I'm a teacher myself, and the whole reason I got into to teaching was to make a difference in kids' lives. Teachers like Mrs. Frank are a big reason why public school teachers have to jump through so many hoops and deal with a lot of crap for mediocre pay. Teachers like that stick around because they have tenure, a pension, etc. It's purely out of convenience. Losing her job was an inconvenience. But hundreds, maybe thousands (depending on how many years she had left) of students benefited from this guy's work. That's what matters the most.
I honestly dont get why "revenge" seems to have a negative meaning. Revenge can be just, too.
perfect justice would be unfeeling justice, and asking any human to be unfeeling specially high school age boys or girls so that call for perfecr justice would be unjust in of itself
