I left my small hometown the minute I could. One of my classmates called and here is the conversation as my mother told me.
CM - So what is Harriett doing these days?
M - She's married.
CM - So, what does her husband do?
M - He's a clown.
CM - No, really, what does he do?
M - He's really a clown. She laughs.

My husband was a Ringling clown. I was so proud that she didn't elaborate.

There are good nicknames and bad nicknames. Her endearments are wonderful.
She was bored. She has Covid (very mild symptoms) and can’t go anywhere or have anyone over. She has called 3 times just to say hi and ask what we are doing. That’s ok, she can call as much as she wants.
I am so sorry that she is sick. Hopefully, she will recover soon. Although it can be frustrating when moms call too often, treasure each one, for they are gone too soon, no matter how old they are.
