I have a few:

Lucy was mix that we were all fairly sure had a supergenius human inside of her. She would swear at you via barking, and it was OBVIOUS. She was incredibly sweet though, and in addition to watching me like a hawk as a baby, she would always lie down next to my mom's stomach while she was pregnant with me, despite the fact that she normally wasn't very cuddly.

Cameron, on the other hand, was a lovable dumbass of a Border Collie (I don't even know how). This guy ate a pack of balloons, chewed up my mom's laptop cord THROUGH HIS CRATE, and broke a drawer by sitting in it. Despite this, he was the most empathetic animal I've ever met. It literally felt like he had a sixth sense for when I was crying or injured, since he'd be there in a few seconds to check on me.

Lucy was put down when I was six, as she was going blind/deaf, and it honestly broke my heart seeing Cameron without her. He was adopted as a puppy, so they'd been best friends/partners in crime for as long as he could remember. He passed away a few years later when I was nine, after he had a stroke/seizure (my parents never told me which because I was a kid) and the vet had to put him down.

Shaka was my dad's cat, who he found under his car when she was a kitten. Most of her life/my childhood I didn't really interact with her, but after Cameron passed, my parents moved her crate (practically a cat tower) into my room as I was pretty sad about him. She passed away a few years later, but that time was probably the best we've had together. She would always do this thing where she would climb into my bed and say goodnight (I had a loft) and she would then hop onto my dad, who would squat down to let her get onto the ground, like an elevator.

My cat 5yr Cinder. I found her about a year and a half ago behind my shed. She's a chatty tortoiseshell. Sometimes she seems like a b***h but she's just sensitive. Then sometimes she actually is a b***h! But she's playful and really sweet. She can be very anxious, and turns out a bit jealous I found out after we adopted another cat, Baba Yaga, a few months ago. It just takes her a while to warm up to different creatures. She's a pain in the a** but I love her.

She was a little brown bunny that I bought from my brother when I was between 6-8. I named her TooToo and she was my best buddy. My favorite memory was when I sent her sailing in a plastic bowl across a little creek and she capsized. She swam to the shore, but she was not pleased.😂
When she was a year old she had 5 little bunnies. I was a very proud bunny-grandma.
Sadly, one night she decided to squeeze out of her hutch, but she didn't make it all the way through. My brother found her the next morning, hanging by her back hips upside-down. She died of internal injuries while I sat beside her...I was devastated.

The comforting thing was I still had her babies. Her son Georgie was my pal for years.
