Mine was my 7th grade social studies teacher. He was the nicest person and insanely funny.

He definitely made the right choice being a middle school teacher. He was a bit too funny to be an elementary teacher (they wouldn’t understand), and high school kids would not care.

I told my aunt who’s a teacher that he was my favorite at one point, who told him, and it literally made his entire day. Such a nice guy.

I couldn’t ever choose between three of my best teachers. One, my middle school History teacher. Our topics often revolved around Batman, how to peel a banana correctly, and Abraham Lincoln (easily distracted teens have creative imaginations). I never, ever felt like I was actually doing work in his class. He turned his lessons into stories and captured the attention of all of his students. Really, I loved him because he genuinely made learning engaging and interesting. Two, my high school English teacher. She was a sweet little old lady who was always very kind to me. The majority of my classes with her were filled with jacka** boys with no respect for her whatsoever, so she always favored the much more polite girls. She helped me come out of my shell and encouraged me to share my creative writing, helping me submit some pieces to contests which eventually led to me earning a college scholarship due to one of my short stories. And three, my middle school science teacher. I had never liked science before but with hands-on experiences, a pink Razor scooter, and a hilarious sense of humor later, I grew to love it. I am both eternally grateful to the three of them for making my school my home away from home, as well as giving me a platform to explore my passions and actively learn amazing things about the ever-changing world around me. :)
