My grandparents were from all throughout North India, including Delhi, Etawa, and Lucknow. When the partition happened, they all eventually came to Karachi, Pakistan where both of my parents were born. Then, my parents came to the US East Coast, where I was born in Washington, DC and grew up in Maryland.

My family originated from 5 different European countries. Three of my grandparents emigrated into the US. My dad was born in Israel. He came to America at ten yo, along with my 6(?) yo uncle. My mom was raised from parents that immigrated from israel. She was born in Connecticut. Her father is actually a prof at a university there. They then did all the college stuff. One of my moms classmates almost electrocuted themselves, and then became a triple major and is now one of the leading researchers on m-theory. My parents soon moved to AZ and married there. They made my brother about a year before they made me. In other words: when a mommy and a daddy love each other very much…

My ancestry can be traced to a small village in North Karnataka. A lot of my ancestors ended up fleeing the place some 200 years ago due to a war so they scattered to several places and states in South India. My mum and dad both ended up growing up in Maharashtra in the cities of Pune and Mumbai. They went to America and had me & my brother and then we moved back to India in South Karnataka
