Classical can be defined many ways, but most people will know what you mean when you mention something.

Literature is becoming somewhat forgotten, but there are such amazing books out there! Maybe this list will help you find some new books for your reading list...

Dracula, by Bram Stoker
I've read it 5 times in my life and I never get tired, it's so full of twists and keeps you wondering! While it is a bit long and takes a while to get into, it is completely worth the read every single time.
Not to mention is stokes you in the cultures of the areas mentioned and something about the superstition of it all is intriguing. This is my number one most highly recommended book.
Favorite character is 100% Van Helsing!!

Oh, so many, and I can't really say why I like them, ...mostly because of the use of language I guess. I just love the style in both German and English:

- anything by Erich Maria Remarque (my favourite author)

- The Picture of Dorian Gray - Oscar Wilde

- My Cousin Rachel - Daphne du Maurier

-Great Expectations - Charles Dickens

- Der Schimmelreiter (The Rider on the White Horse / The Dykemaster) - Theodor Storm

- Jane Eyre - Charlotte Brontë

....

I really like The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood, though I’m not entirely sure if that counts as Classic Literature.

Not sure if it counts as classic literature, but The Chronicles of Narnia - it explores Biblical themes in creative ways and portrays the intimacy in people's relationships with God. I would like a racism-free version, though.

If that doesn't count, probably "Anne of the Green Gables", due to the main character approaching her relationship with God in a child-like way, despite her guardian not liking it. I especially like the scene where she's looking at the picture of Jesus with the children. Hurts to see her caregiver scold her for it, though. Besides, her huge fantasy and talkativeness are very relatable, and (spoiler alert) I love how she saves her bestie's little sibling. Her friendship with the pastor's wife is also well-written.
