Sometimes, the smallest acts of kindness from strangers can leave the biggest impact on our lives. Whether it was someone offering help during a difficult moment, saying the right words at the right time, or simply showing compassion when it was needed most, those unexpected moments remind us of the good that exists in the world.What’s the kindest thing a stranger has ever done for you?

I (17f, presenting 14f)) was planning running away from home after my restaurant shift ended and was emotional all through it. A person picked up on it, took me outside for a cigarette, talked me through what would likely happen to a young homeless girl in central Johannesburg and asked if that was worse or better than a cunty stepmother and absent father at home for just six more months. Having already experienced one night in central JHB where I had in fact endangered myself and friend after sneaking out of the house, it was an epiphany. That guy likely saved my life.

    A family donated the clothes they were not wearing anymore. A lot of good quality clothes for my kids, we used those clothes many years. When my kids were to big, I gave the clothes to another family and they are still wearing those clothes. This made me so happy.
