When I visited a Harry Potter convention a couple of years ago (though, obviously for copyright reasons it was simply dubbed a 'wizard convention'), I ran into a Prof. Lockhart cosplayer after a panel. I, of course, went to take a picture with him. He was just so spot on that it was uncanny. Upon asking him for said picture, though, I came to find that not only was he dressed like Prof. Lockhart, but he also acted, talked, and had the same intonation as the professor too. I'm talking a SPOT ON impression. Kind of blew my mind. I'm convinced I met the real Lockhart that day, lol.

I met Alan Rickman, Robbie Coltrane, Jason Isaacs, Richard Harris and Maggie Smith at an event and they all signed a film poster which was going to given as a prize in a competition for the kids (they were going to get Emma, Daniel and Rupert so sign it at a later date). I was saying to my partner that I was gutted we couldn't enter because I wanted it, when I heard a voice behind me say, 'what would you want with that?' Before I'd turned around I replied 'Are you joking, the greatest actors in the world all signed that!'. I turned and it was Alan Rickman. He said he'd get me another one, but couldn't promise that Daniel, Emma & Rupert would sign it. He kept his promise and I received it a few week later!
