Vaccinations! They are the most rigorously tested d***s out there and have demonstrated their effectiveness over the course of decades, saving millions of lives.

The same people that whine about the "risks of vaccinations" will then eat an unhealthy diet or drink alcohol, or do d***s, or stress themselves (and others), or... - all things that are known to be detrimental, but apparently they're okay because the guy with the brain worm doesn't hate on them. I'd say let them, if it was not for the innocent who suffer.

Potatoes. They are rich in Vitamin C (antioxident) and loaded with other vitamins, minerals and fiber.
It is the additional stuff; butter, sour cream, cheese, bacon, etc that adds the calories.
But "FLAVOR?" you may ask. Baby potatoes with a little olive oil, herbs or salt and pepper and roasted are delicious.

The blue coloured potatoes are even better. Contain the same compounds that make blueberries a super food. They're slightly nuttier than normal potatoes. So good all round!

Though not to much fiber, but at least 3 gram per 100 gram. 👍

Video games. They can provide a form of stress relief while helping with coordination and problem solving skills.

Being on your own! Sometimes I just go for a walk by myself just to clear my head and think, sometimes your own company is the best company.

Yes! about 2 years ago I was suffering mentally, which I had not experienced in my life. I have always been lucky that way. So I started going for walks daily, by myself, and it did wonders! I would go walking with no headphones in. I would put my phone in my pocket and then just walk and look at the world around me. It healed me in so many ways!!!! Highly recommend!

I live alone (except for my Alert Dog). But, still need to "run away" from time to time!

Using the word, "no" without falling into an argument about it. Personal boundaries are healthy. And complex carbohydrates; our bodies actually need them for many different reasons. I only add that last one because a coworker is a first-time keto dieter and they are being really annoying currently about their "amazing progress" of losing water weight from being VERY overweight to begin with.

What they found was a large number of cups per day (5+) and that amount of caffeine (caffeine is not the health benefit) is likely going to interfere with your sleep which will definetely mess up your health.

Morning coffee in particular provides the best benefits, but no one is stopping you from sipping it (preferably with plant-based vitaminized "milk") or adding a splash of milk as long as you skip the sugar. And green tea in the morning also has good effects if coffee is not your thing.

Hard to write this without being censored...but I understand that for a man, keeping the prostate exercised with regular activity, even solo, is likely to reduce the chances of prostate cancer in later life. Regardless of your view on the morals of the sin of Onan, your teenage son might just protecting his future health when he's alone in his bedroom.

It’s healthy for women too! Stress relief, promoting better sleep, enhanced mood. Not only that but getting to know your own body is good for romantic relationships, and also if you never explore your body then how will you know if there is a sudden change in your reproductive health?

Absolutely. If you suddenly don't like going solo, it's hard to climax, or it hurts, it's time to think about whether there's stress in your life or if something else is wrong. You may also notice the first symptoms of perimenopause caused by dryness, or during menstruation, you can relieve pain with your own hand with the power of orgasm.

I'm not even a vegan, but could all of the USA then STFU about their burgers? No? Then don't come at me with that tired, pathetic cliche about vegans "talking too much about it".

A well-balanced vegan diet has kept me very healthy. What is less talked about (because everyone is focused on arguing about food) is how much other things associated with veganism help with mental well-being and a sense of community. Environmental protests bring people together and I find community among conservationists. You can find new surprising friends on the bus, okay that was a joke. However, doing things that are greener for the environment has been linked to better mental well-being. When you feel like you are doing something better, you create hope for yourself (perhaps falsely at this point because environmental destruction cannot be reversed) and for others. And if someone leaves meat off their plate even one day a week, that is already an environmental act!

Lifting heavy weights.... I know that's realitive because one person may think 10 pounds is heavy and another might think 500 pounds is heavy. But the key is to life as heavy as you can because this forces your body to build up your muscle and bones.

And no.. you won't end up looking like a body builder unless you take the growth hormones so start lifting!!!!

I achieve this by going into the grocery store for 1 or 2 items, therefore not grabbing a basket, and inevitably ending up at the register with my arms weighed down with random $hit I may or may not need

It's not that simple. It really depends on genetics how muscles develop. I myself belong to the group whose upper body just seems to need more repetitions all the time because the muscles develop well and this summer I have already increased the number of repetitions three times and everything in the lower body remains as supple as a runner's lower body no matter what I try. Genetically I belong to the northern peoples so my long strong legs are like they were created to run in deep snow while I fight bears, reindeer and moose with my strong upper body. Genetics really has a lot to do with why some people have to work almost twice as hard to achieve what others can achieve almost just by looking at dumbbells.
