Gearbreakers, by Zoe Hana Mikuta. (I also love all the Grishaverse books, the One of Us is Lying trilogy, and sooo many more, it's so hard to pick a favorite)
I Capture The Castle and A Tale of Two Families. Both adult novels by Dodi Smith who wrote 101 Dalmatians.
Other favourites are Rachel's Holiday and The Secret of Mercy Close by Maeve Binchy. Neither are "just chick lit" The same with Backpack by Emily Barr.
I am also addicted to all the DCI Logan and Bob Hoone books by JD Kirk.
Emma by Jane Austen, Tomorrow when the war began and So much to tell you by John Marsden, A waltz for Matilda by Jackie French, Thursday murder club by Richard Ozman, The late show by Michael Connelly and probably many more I've forgotten!
