I got called a pirate. I’m blind in one eye.
Damn it, I have the pirates of the Caribbean song stuck in my head. But may I ask why you’re blind in one eye? I’m almost blind myself, and honestly, I wanna know what it’s like to be blind

And my own dad told me that I could never be a cheerleader as I’m chunky and have no body for it. That really hurt. I have no body image, and I really wanted to cheer. It broke my heart. Now I’m unhealthily thin due to a thyroid problem, and I’m told I look pretty?
It angers me thinking about it today.

All of these said by my parents and only 2 of these were used to tease me when growing up but not anymore as I’ve found people who probably tolerate me at best. I guess they probably hate me because everyone I’ve ever met has called me annoying but I don’t know what others find annoying. Maybe I really don’t have friends and people just pity me so they pretend
I want you to be safe. I’m sure there are many people here who’ll find a way to get you out and protect you.
I wore jeans and a t-shirt to church, and my 6 year old friend came up and said to me, "Well, you didn't dress well today."
I was wounded.😁
And to add insult to injury, she was in tie-dye shorts and a tank-top.
I'm not sure I will get over this one.

That is disgusting. I’ve had suicidal ideation before, and it I was told that, I probably quotient be alive today. And what that bastard doesn’t know is that if you die in the hospital, you still have to pay the Bill (at least in the U.S.). I feel guilty everytime I have to go to my specialist doctors because I fainted in order to get them and cared debt, and then got diagnosed with cancer. It hurts. I wish you the best. Hugs 🫂
idk if this counts but one of my friends told me i was a little bit clingy. i only hang around them so much bc i'm scared that something bad will happen to one of us and we won't be able to see each other again.
I understand completely. I’m clingy too; with one of my friends, if she talks to someone else, I can get really furious. I don’t wanna feel this way, I want to have a normal friendship
Constantly being told I'm lazy and to try harder when I was going through school. I now know I have auditory processing disorder, which inhibits the ability to understand speech.
Those are awful things to say to someone. Language & communication processing is something that many of us take for granted. I hope that with your diagnosis you will be able to get help with learning skills and tools to adapt as best as possible. People will surprise you with their support. Until recently, I thought that ASL (sign language) was rare. My daughter & I are learning together (she is non-verbal and does not understand spoken communication). It is overwhelming to realize how many people actually know some basic signs; how many strangers who see us communicating that will pause to sign hello, how are you, very basic small “talk”, just to be kind and help another human feel included.
