I found a way on GTA 5 to double, sometimes treble, sometimes quadruple your money, was able to buy EVERY business and every item, very early in the game. After the mission with the exploding phone.

Playing X-Wing (tabletop/tabletop simulator) Had a cheap tie striker roll absolutely terrible on nearly every attack and defense roll, and yet somehow survive almost the entire game.
