Totally valid worry. I know I can take a mini poodle. Thankfully all my dogs have been cuddle bugs and the most worried I've been is having a limb fall asleep from them sleeping on it and then being too cute for me to want to move

Humans have a role to play, we just lost sight and got greedy. In my Culture our job was to simply maintain the world so everything (animals, trees, water, rocks) could fulfill it's Dreaming (purpose). Everything was given a small piece of the Dreaming (The spider knows what a spider has to do) but we were given all of it and understand the broader picture (we understand why the spider catches the fly and why it's important) we need to go back to being Stewards of the land

Yes I hate that especially people coming up with identities that hurt our communities such as animesexual or superstraight. Just because you like anime does not mean that is your sexuality. Just because you won’t date a trans person doesn’t mean your straighter than the other people because that is just your preference and that person is still the identity that they indenting with.

I agree! I’ve seen people on TikTok trying to make up their own sexuality for clout. There’s apparently transage where you identify as a certain age that’s not yours(nice way to diss on transgender people you clowns).

Here’s one to spark controversy [rubs hands together in glee]. As a gay man, I personally find the term “queer” very offensive. The word has been appropriated by the LGBTQ+ community but I grew up with the original definition and can assure you I am most certainly not odd, freakish, deviant or abnormal. Use it yourself, that’s your call entirely. But call me “queer” and I will be hurt and perceive you as homophobic. It’s a bit like kids these days using the word “sick” to describe something that’s cool or popular. No… In my book (aka the dictionary) “sick” = vomit. V.O.M.I.T. Puke. That’s is not a nice thing. What are you playing at referring to my car as “sick!” Wierdo.

You should be able to understand that some people have different vocabularies and definitions than you. As long as you're clear about your preferences, all's good and people should respect that. It's perfectly fine to be uncomfortable with certain words in certain contexts

Sharks are my all time favorite animal. I know people think their scary and all, but we kill WAY more sharks then they kill us. Sharks only kill humans on accident, we are disgusting to them I love sharks, their so cool.

There are no wild horses in the USA. They are all descended from domesticated stock, making them feral. They also destroy plant life, leading to lower biodiversity and higher erosion. They drive native species like deer and elk away from water sources. The should be treated like feral hogs are, but people are more emotional about horses.

It's cause people romanticize horses and riding horses. Obviously, they should be treated with basic decency and like the living animals that they are, but they aren't divine gifts of some sort, they're an invasive species. They aren't pets, they're feral problems

While they do ruin things, they don't breed anywhere as fast as hogs, don't have such large liters or as frequent. They also typically don't go through settled neighborhoods and eat people's dogs

I have 4 dogs! My border collie makes the most noise. My Chihuahua is the most quiet and loving. Unless one of the others is being aggressive, then she'll take charge.

I have two chihuahua mixes and they are the most loving little dogs ever! So much of the public perception of chihuahuas comes from people not training or disciplining them properly and it makes me so sad, they're wonderful little dogs!

I have one theory about life and I’m not sure if many people agree with me. I believe that we’re all the same person. We all have one consciousness that is split into different bodies. Picture it like this: when humans first arrived, you’re born as the very first one. After you die, you’re born as the second human but don’t retain the memories of your previous life. The same thing went on till today, when you’re now in this birth. Since so many people live at the same time, you’re constantly interacting with yourself. Everyone is you and you are everyone. If you interact with anyone, just realise that the person you’re interacting with is you. You’ve lived the lives of everyone who has ever lived. You’ve commited several terrible things, you’re the one who suffered through those things and you’re the one who helped and made everything better. You’ve come so far now, having experienced trillions of lives. A new world is being created for the next generation. Try building it to help them progress, to ensure that there’s more potential lives you can live. Sorry for this long paragraph, it does sound kind of stupid but it’s something I like to believe in when I’m down

My understanding of it is that it is communism, as it was originally intended. And, if implemented properly, could work, but it relies on the good of people to work as a collective for the greater good. It is good in theory, but would never work in the real world. People are too greedy for power.

Bored Panda's setup makes most people think that the upvote and downvote buttons equate to likes or dislikes. Until recently, those downvotes could get a person banned. Apparently, they have changed it, and in order to be banned, the person must be reported, using the little three button menu option to the right of the username.
