The TV remote is called a 'doofer'.
Most other things are called a description of their use followed by 'Yolk'. For example, 'pass me that stirring yolk' instead of 'pass me a spoon'

i call my Alexa "chara" because it would turn on at night or when no one said "Alexa" so I started to call it chara because I was pretty sure it was a ghost and I love undertale so the Alexa ghost = chara ( if you don't know who chara is they are a ghost child in undertale)

I call my under stairs cupboard The Lobbit because if I'm not sure where something should go, I "lob it" in there. We also have a small spare bedroom, which we had always called the box room. When Covid took hold and home working became more permanent, we changed the room to an office but still kept calling it the box room out of habit. Now we just call it "The Box Office", which is quite apt as most work days have drama attached to them!

Not at my home, but at my summer camp there’s a giant mister outside for really hot days, and my friends and I would always call it “Mr. Mister”

Bathroom— pooper or shitter (most likely derived from Christmas Vacation)

Bathroom fan— fart fan

Walls: forbidden canvases

Hand sanitizer— han san

Alexa— Idiot or Artificial Unintelligence

Guinea pigs— ratdogs

Guinea pig cage— rat den

Two of my dogs— Luxo Lamp (because they’re both wearing cones of shame and look like Luxo Jr, though I suppose Dug would be a more fitting name)
