Hey Pandas, What Do You Think About Tipping When You Cannot Afford To?
I hear "No Tip, No Trip" from these drivers. Don't they realize not everyone has spare cash to tip? And that meal may be because they haven't grocery shopped. I don't think the selfish bastards even care, do you?

I dont think ive ever tipped now that i think about it... grocery clerks dont ask you to tip when u use cash (atleast where im from) if i had a more stable job (i babysit like once a month lol) than id tip more than i do, but as for others, if you cant afford it than dont, its optional and waiters/waitresses shoupdnt have to depend on us for their living their bosses should pay them enough so that if we do tip its not a feeling of 'oh i can eat tonight and pay my rent' NO its a feeling of 'extra money for my savings' and a feeling of gratitude because of your great service....

Tip for food service, but not for counter service places. I mean would you tip at Dunkin' Donuts?
No matter what country you come from tipping should be at the discretion of the individual.
I personally would only ever tip for service and never to pay someones wage. If a person doesn't earn a decent wage then it isn't up to me to hand them my hard earned cash to ease their burden.
When all my bills come in who is going to hand me cash to ease my burden ... No one!
Tipping has just become a way for employers to make other people pay their employees, it isn't even about the quality of the service anymore, sometimes people are asked for tips before receiving the service. The tipping system should end and employers should instead give their employees a living wage.
You are in the same position as that person and should not be considered selfish for it, people should try to tip when an employer is being greedy but only if they can afford it.
Tipping for services rendered is customary in many countries including the U.S.. If good manners mean anything to you and you are located in or visiting one of those countries then yes, you should consider tipping as part of the cost, just like tax. How much you tip should be a reflection of the quality of the service.
Good or bad, right or wrong, you need to tip in the US. Don’t go to a restaurant or order delivery if you can’t tip. Go pick up some food yourself
