Seattle. The dirt, the greyness, the smoke, the rain, the graffiti, and the trash. Everything about this place is beautiful and I love it dearly. I'm going to have to leave it behind when I'm an adult because I can't survive in a place like America but Seattle will always be close to my heart. As far as I know, there's nowhere else like it.
In addition and relatedly, the PNW nature. God it's f*****g gorgeous out there, no matter the season. As a little kid I always loved nature and use only recently realized that it's not that nature itself is this lovely and important to me (not that I dislike nature at all, I still love it) but that the PNW nature is really special. If you've never been here, you should, although idk if the love I have for it is unique to me or something that everyone can experience

Winter sky, ice in the sunlight, horses when it's windy, thunderhead storm clouds, holding hands, those flecks of light from the sun shining through leaves. Mountains, mist in the morning, when babies smile for the first time, the moment you realize you and an acquaintance are actually friends now, turning onto a familiar road and knowing you are almost home.
That moment when you catch someone's eye and you both know you're thinking the same thing.
That scene in Lord of the Rings when the riders of Rohan surge over the hill for the first time.🥵

Animation and comics in stuff with a slightly less realistic style. I just love it
1 Rain. Then again I live in a desert so it might be biased

1. Of course i have to say my wife in case she happens to read this lol. There is a moment in time that happens every morning right before i wake my son up. He looks so peaceful and innocent. Then i wake him up and he turns into a grumpy 12 year old lol.
2. A blank sheet of paper. Im a writer and that blank sheet offers me a whole new world of dreams and nightmares.
