    I relate, I roleplay with myself in my head, it's oddly soothing

    Listen to music. The genre depends on what I am feeling like. Feeling like my life is slipping away from me? I put on Howl at the Moon by the Script. Anxious? Anything Porter Robinson (especially Look at the Sky) Missing a certain person? They all have songs that remind me of them. It's usually a few songs played over and over, or a playlist built around that feeling.

    If I am really stressed about a work meeting or an exam I remind myself that it will be over tomorrow, and I will wake up and still be alive.
