It is not a borsch. It is called Cold Beetroot Soup. It's base is beetroot, fresh cucumber, sourcream, milk, dills, boiled eggs and spring onions :) Served with hot potatoes on the side :)

In India same are made in sweet and savoury. They are deep fried.

Why do they look like that? They’re supposed to be browned a lil with those onions on each side.

You are definitely not a high tea expert. You are thinking of lunch, lunch is served at 1pm and high tea at around 4pm.

High tea is the servants tea. Afternoon tea is the more formal tea. This would be acceptable for servants.

Definitely not an English high tea. Tea bag left in the cup of what looks like old dishwater and no milk and no teapot, no scones, no jam and no clotted cream. Whoever served this up should be ashamed of themselves.

I am no high tea expert... but isn't that a scone, jam, and clotted cream on the plate at roughly 12 o'clock? Also: If you were to have different teas, would you not be able to steep in a cup? Or is that always a no-no? Also, also: If they just poured the water, couldn't the tea be lighter than after steeping for a bit? I dunno, just asking...

Food is regional. Very. Pasta is cooked from North to South, East to West with sauce variants, fish along the coast and in the south, meat centre and North. There are also many influences, in the south from North Africa, North from France on one side and German on the other. IMHO a fantastic mouthwatering variety! Well, there is also pizza...normal human sized with traditional toppings :)

Maybe as filling for a baked potato? Lots of grated cheese on top?
