I don’t have a scanner, but one of my favorite photos that I’ve taken is a photo of a disembodied arm holding a pack of children’s underwear. It was one of the first photos I took, the first time somebody gave me a disposable camera. It’s such an odd composition that I really like it as an art photo. I also have one that was the first photo my baby cousin ever took with a real camera, which was a close up shot of a brick ledge in my aunt’s basement - my camera was too heavy for her toddler hands so she couldn’t lift it higher. I find that one equally charming.
