It's been a long year, but every year has its ups and downs. When it comes to the rollercoaster of our lives, it's important to remember that every valley has its peaks.

Worst: I found out my boyfriend was a pedophile. I have two children. Now he's an ex. It yanked the rug out from under me and very nearly ended my sobriety. Best part: it DIDN'T end my sobriety, and I celebrated 11 years on Dec 27th.

Best: got with the love of my teenage world ;) and while it has been a very hard thing with certain topics I have done all I can and so happy with what I’ve come out to be :)))

Worst: had a very hard struggle mentally (worst ever, never having problems before) because of some sensitive events coming into my life but I’m pushing past and every day working a little better :) especially being good to myself, I’m looking for positive things about me and I’m sure proud of how far I’ve come with my emotional health and stuff

Worst: Lost my brother-in-law (wife's family side) to cancer. A few weeks after his death my sister-in-law (wife's family side again) got also diagnosed with cancer stage 3. Chemo so far is working well. There's hope. But it took it's toll on the family, especially my wife. And what happens to her - happens to me.

Then my 76 year-old mother got in some five-figures financial problems. We'll sort it out, but it's quite an amount.

Best: On the other hand, my wife and I are still happily married. We're in good health. So is our Bulldog. And I'm still going strong and stable on my job of 23 years. We're really blessed and having a good life so far.
