This Is Maddox: Non-Binary, They/Them Pronouns. They're A Big Old Dork And I Love Them!
They do have wings, but they don't like using them as they have some pretty unpleasant memories about them. Basically, they're supposed to grow in at the age of 8 or 9, but Maddox's father was impatient and cut them out of their back early, when Maddox was four. Maddox does not live with their father anymore, but they have always wanted revenge for the neglect and abuse that they and their younger sister Ebony suffered at his hands. Nowadays, Maddox likes horror podcasts, dogs and swimming. They have the power to pull the souls from people's bodies, raise the dead, etc. This drains them a lot. A drawback to their power is their 'episodes'. Due to a combination of their volatile power and their crippling PTSD, whenever they receive a violent trigger to their past trauma, they will go nuts.
