It was an 80F day, they duct taped her in a box with her babies and left her in a park. She chewed a hole in the box but wouldn't leave the babies. Found homes for all kittens, and because she isn't 'flashy', folks didn't want her. So I took her in and she is now 17 years young! This photo was taken just last year :)

XD IKR I love them! They're Soft Paws claw caps. They're nominally for dogs who live in houses with hardwood floors, but since Stilly has balance and walking issues, he used to sometimes cut his own toes with the nails on the toes next to them whenever he'd stumble. The caps work perfectly to protect his toes, plus they're fashionable XD I used to use them on my cat as well - I only wish they had a larger range of colors available in the "Jumbo" size that I have to buy for Stilly's claws! XD

Another feral rescue, long story to this, but I'll make it short (also saved his sister kricket) Their mother Eep was a feral I had been feeding in my back yard for a year, this was her second litter, sadly she was killed and by the time I found Bean and Kricket, the other 3 siblings had passed. EDIT: Just to add to this, the picture is 7 months ago, Bean and Kricket are thriving and happily run around the house playing, Bean loves to run in the exercise wheel at 3 am waking everyone up.

I have a silver savanna (pic #16) my neighbor had found him in a trashcan along with two of his sisters, no mother. We assume the owner didn't want them-little did they know a savanna (especially silver) can go for 6,000 dollars at most and 800 dollars at least.

My wife and I were asleep one night. We have a French door with those lever handles. Around 3 in the morning our five other cats started going nuts. We sat up in bed, and just then this little gentleman pops open the door and saunters right in. The other cats were freaked out, as were we. He sat himself at the foot of the bed and made himself at home. Nobody claimed him. No collar. So, six years later, here he is. A wonderful little dude. We spent the first year just trying to acclimatize him with the others. It finally worked, but it took a full year. We named him Nemo, 'cause, well... you know. But he found US!

Cookie is shaped like a beach ball. Not a single bone in a correct joint. Boo's knees were backwards and she had severe allergies and seizures. Cookie is still going as strong as she can at 8 years old. Boo crossed the Rainbow Bridge in April 2022 at the age of 9. I will adopt disabled dogs again.

She was rescued off the streets of South Auckland by the SPCA, both eyes were badly infected with cat flu, one was severely ulcerated had to be removed. Our trip to the SPCA to get a kitten playmate for an existing cat (Maggie the Orca, another SPCA kitty) and Sputnik stole our hearts and was renamed Leela in homage to Futurama.

He was adopted as a pup, but his "owners" gave him back for being hyper at 10months. We already gave up looking for a new dog a week prior, when my coworker heard of him. He fits us like "arsch auf eimer"/ "bum on bucket"- He is def. not hyper but very loving and loves dogs and people.

Sasha was dumped with her brother at a Shelter in the south at 1month old. She was malnourished, dehydrated and had intestinal parasites at 2months when we got her. She weighed 7lbs and you could feel her ribs. Here she is now at almost 4years old. Happy and healthy.

The family he came from, got him as a toy for the kids. When he wasnt a sweet little kitten anymore and starting biting, they got rid of him. It took us a long time to gain his trust but now he is a happy, sweet boy. We can't pick him up because then he panics and bites but apart from that he's fully recovered.

This Is Chance. We Found Him On The Streets In My Neighborhood And Gave Him To My Sister From Tustin. We Guessed He Was On The Streets For About A Week But We Dont Know Where He Came From. When We Finally Got Him He Was On The Verge Of Death And You Could See And Feel His Ribs. Fast Forward Eight Months And He's Like The Most Spoiled And Loving Dog. Jodie was attacked by a dog and had have to her mangled leg amputated. She came to me as a foster and never left. She doesn't understand that she only has three legs and isn't supposed to climb to the top of the climber, get the zoomies at 4 am and run through the house like a wildebeest or wrestle with her fur siblings. His whole left side of his body was just skin no fur from the fire. I thought at first he must have had a bad skin condition until the vet told me it was fire related. Bruiser was so trusting and loving. Not sure how old he was. Came home one day to see this sick,malnourished cat covered in ticks and fleas. His nose was bleeding from the cancerous growth too. He couldn't eat cat biscuits due to a severe mouth infection. Bought him some soft cat pate and he ate as if he'd not been fed in weeks. Following day took him to a vet who said he was purring away whilst being examined, normally unheard of. Found out he had to have 6 teeth extracted once his mouth infection cleared. He was treated for worms, ticks and fleas. Given an injection and a course of antibiotics for 8 weeks twice a day. The vet said he might be between 5-10 years old. Hard to tell on a stray malnourished cat. The vet predicted he may live a few years until the cancerous nose spread. He lived just over that. RIP 💙
