This is a very diverse world and every culture should be acknowledged and celebrated. Here in the states most of the US ( ha get it? Sorry 😅) are extremely uncultured and have no idea the awesomeness of other countries.

What country are you from or what is your nationality? Share one thing about your culture that you are like/ are proud of.

As one of those rare Americans, I enjoy hearing about all walks of life and farthing my knowledge of everyone on the planet we share.

I, for one, am proud of what we as a country were founded on. A "melting pot" of cultures and nationalities. Granted that has been long lost in the US but I still believe in it.

I do hope that it is known that there are some that believe as I do here and that we aren't all as stupid as most of what is seen in the media is. I understand the hatred of the people of the US though. We are out there 🤟🏻

I am a melting pot American. My ancestors are mostly European. Scottish, English and Dutch but my great grandmother was Cherokee. My mother has all the Cherokee facial features but I look like white bread. I don't know much about my ancestors cultures but I studied the Cherokee history from the time they got a written language to about the 1960's.

I was born in the US, but my family (both sides) came from Ireland.

On my screen your comment lines up perfectly with an ad for Jameson Whiskey! Couldn't have been better if it was planned!

I was born in the USA, but my ancestors are from around India and other countries in Asia! One thing I love about being so diverse is all the different kinds of food I get to have, and the culture I get to learn about! I am agnostic, but I really enjoy learning about Hinduism and all the stories. I also know most of the basic words in an Indian language- Malayalam.

I’m American but my ancestors are Italian, Irish, and Swedish. We do have a lot of Irish traditions like we dance the river dance a lot just for fun. There is also one that is called box of biscuits and it’s where you would have at least one good box of biscuits on Christmas and eat them,we put our own spin on this and decided to make biscuits and gravy every Christmas with homemade biscuits. That’s really all I can think of for now there’s also the fact we eat a lot of potatoes it I think that’s cause we live in Idaho so.

Im as white as you can get. German, Irish, Scandinavian, British. I checked 23&Me, I'm whiter than parmesan cheese. But for some weird reason I love Native American culture. It's so cool and fascinating the way they dress and express themselves! A lot of people are just like "oh you just want to make up for what you did do them" but I didn't do jack to them, my ancestors did and I'm not responsible for that. I also really love Spanish culture, one day I think I'll study abroad in Costa Rica.
