Are you happy? Quickly followed by ... Is there something dogs want that we don't know about? Quickly followed by ... What exactly do you dream about? My dog is lying beside me know and she's fast asleep. She's making wee whining sounds and every now and then she's moving her legs like she's running.

I never thought of that. A minute would never be long enough. This happened recently. I got my dog a bone and put it on the edge of the workbench so she could see it. I asked her, "What do you want?" She put her front paws on my chest, looked at the bone then at me before giving my face a quick lick which is her way of giving a kiss. I asked her again, "What do you want?" She looked at me and moved her mouth up and down. I said to her, "Are you trying to talk to me?" It honestly looked like she was trying to speak. She got her bone.
