I would love to live on one of the beaches of Hawaii. The views are stunning, the air is warm, and the people are friendly.

    Luca, Italy.
Small, clean, quiet and has a very large grass area that almost surrounds the city. My dogs would love it.
I am American female and live in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have a 55 pound black German shepherd mix and a 33 pound corgi. It would be our heaven but so far from family. ;o

Finland. I absolutely HATE hot weather, love pine forests, and adore heavy metal. Perfect place to live as far as I'm concerned.

I've had to address this question since my wife died just over a year ago, and I've concluded that my chalet in a Swiss alpine village and ski resort pretty much nails it. It's not perfect, but it has its plus points.

Other options we'd discussed before she died were getting somewhere on a Greek island, most likely contenders were Levkada or Kefalonia, both of which we love and have sailed around many times. But it would always have been summer in one place, winter in the other.

But I don't see myself doing that on my own now.

I would stay right where i am, in Denmark. I love the social wellfare system, the health care system, the free education and that you get paid a living wage while you study. I love that nobody gets left behind. I love our culture, our views on humanity, we are all equal. We have equal oportunities. I love our democracy.
I love the infrastructure, the beautiful nature, the very different seasons, the constant changing of the weather, the tiny town (1000 people) I live in. I love everything about this country.

Stockholm, Sweden. I’ve always had an attraction to the Nordic countries. I like the way the people think. And one of my great-grandmothers was Swedish.

Either the Ring of Kerry in Ireland or south west Scotland. Both laidback and peaceful

Whitby. Either that or have a little farming commune with my friends somewhere in Scandinavia.
