So, I'm new here, and i kinda just need an explanation of how this site works socially. like, it kinda seems like it's seperated into friend groups, and i was wondering if someone could maybe explain them to me?

the group: all the popular teens/tweens like nae nae, jordan, bee, irishgoatgirl, etc.
the legends: nathaniel, lakota, deadpool, etc.
the trolls: uh well just look for the most downvoted comments.
the rest of us: uh we’re just on here i guess.

The only rule is be nice. You can figure out who you fit in with, and probably make lots of friends as long as you are kind and helpful because that’s the best thing about our community! We support each other :) basically just be nice and chat with the pandas you want to fit in with. Welcome to BP, hope you are happy on this amazing site :)
My point is just that you don’t have to be scared to talk to anyone because of some rules of the social system or anything :)
Bit of a late reply sorry, anyway here's some random bp stuff-
People often mention in their bio what group they're in (mainly through shoutouts- or, in my case, "this is who I live in an imaginary treehouse with" lol)
For the most part, though, everyone is really chill, and there aren't any strict lines between groups.
A lot of people go by a shorter version of their username, not the full thing (I go by Bean, for example)
If the trolls are annoying you: Ignore, Downvote, Report. Also Nathaniel leads the fight against the trolls.
DP has about a million alt accounts, it took me a while to realize they're all the same person.
If someone says "I need unsee juice," this is what they're referring to (check my comment on this post)

Hello and welcome to the chaos! Honestly there's not as many separated groups as you'd think. Amy's description was pretty good (she's definitely popular, regardless of what she says). As long as you're nice you can comment or post on anything. Don't be hateful, and don't downvote unless someone says something that's actually bad/discriminatory (the downvote button is not a dislike button or a disagree button). Always report trolls (except for the kind that live under bridges, those are usually nice). I'm more than happy to help you out with any specific questions you might have, feel free to reply to an old comment of mine or send me a quick email. I hope you enjoy this odd little website as much as the rest of us do!

I can be called upon to smite the enemies of truth and justice!! But for reals, BP is interesting, because it's definitely not a "traditional" social media site/app, but somehow, we've managed to socialize with each other and have made friends, all just in the comments XD Basically I used to just cruise around and make witty comments, but I've started making some for-reals actual friends on here (even though I'm old and crusty.) That's really all there is to it - just talk to people in comments, don't be afraid to ask questions if you need help or need details about something, feel free to make Ask Pandas posts if you want, and remember that there's actually a backbone of really good people here on BP. Yeah, there are a lot of trolls and rude people and bigots, but the good outnumber the bad. We mobilize like a miniature panda army when someone needs extra help :) ...and legit, if you guys need me to smite someone, just summon me. I love crushing idiots with the force of my English/Creative Writing degree XD
