I'm a 7th grader. And I need help. How do I not get bullied?

Tell your principal. Don’t stop at the teacher. They will not do anything other than tell the bully it was “not very nice”. Like dude they know that, that’s why they’re doing it. If nothing works, ask to have something changed for you so that they don’t have a possibility to bully you.
She just needs help
Help her to connect with the older kids. This will make the bullies aware that she is protected by the higher kids in the school and not to mess with her.
I don't know if this helps but every time your parents say, stand up to bullies, they don't know that even doing the right thing, you can still get in trouble, try telling a teacher, tell the principle, don't use violence
Act like they aren’t affecting you, and that they’re being weird. When they say something mean, act like they just said the sky is purple or something, and seem really embarrassed to be near them for your own social standing. Throw in a really confused face, and maybe look around the room a little. Really sell the whole "this person is clearly insane" look, and then just either walk away, or say something along the lines of "umm...okay?"
Just try to make them seem like they are only embarrassing themselves. Bullying only really works if they can get a rise out of you, and if you can flip the situation to where you are in control, then you’ve won. A well placed moment of mature tact in the face of their juvenile behavior can do wonders, not to mention keep you out of trouble for just trying to defend yourself.
If you have a recording device, you could record the bullies bullying you, and than show the recording to the principal as proof
talk to a trusted adult and dont be afraid to hit back.
If the principles, teachers, and parent don't help. Go to the police.
Try and connect with the older kids. Once you are part of the team the bullies will be aware and step back. Good luck to you! If you go to the teacher... this could make it worse for you.
im also a 7th grader and i know what its like to get bullied. but what i did after the principle did not believe me actually worked. i was eating lunch at Tim Hortons and these bullies from my school came over and pissed me off. but what they never knew was that i had voice recorder on my phone and it recorded them doing all kinds of mean s**t. so i showed the recording to the principle and they got suspended
Tell you parents and your teacher, so they can protect you against the kid who's bullying you.
I think you should go to the principal, and try to avoid them, but also find a good book or something that distracts you.

depends on what they are doing. for the most part do what they do to you. if they are insulting you insult them back. if they are kicking you kick them back. But before you do this try to find out if there is anything wrong with the kid. maybe he was bullied and he decided it would be better to be the bully then to be bullied. If there is nothing wrong with him and he is just a jackass then do what I said before. And if a bully is reading this then, DON'T do anything you cant handle yourself. don't punch someone if your not able to take the punch back.
