My opinion is: sorry, dog-lovers -- i get that dogs are loyal, charming, lovely, cute, kind, sweet, man's best friend, blah blah blah. But im kind of starting to think cats need recognition too!

True, cats don't pounce at you in joy when you arrive back home. True, cats dont give you "puppy kisses". True, sometimes cats are assholes - but loveable ones! Cats may love you most for your supply of cat-food, but most cat-haters are because cats are assholes to THEM. You see, cats sense haters! And cats either love or hate those and cat-haters would be annoyed by both reactions, so...

Never had a dog so please correct me if im wrong; but from what ive known, a dog will love you the moment you appear with a smile on your face because the only word on their mind is "BEST FREIND!" But cats need TIME. TIME, guys, that's all they need. A cat wont just run up to you and lick your face. A cat will politely sniff your hand and decide if they WANT to commit to loving you or not!!!! FACTS.
