There are so many ads and pop-ups on social media platforms that I can’t even read my own writing. What’s something that really frustrates you?

Bots, Ads for Gambling services, Scammers, and just straight up porn. showing up on all social media, despite their claims that this content is not allowed, Despite the settings on my accounts restricting/blocking it all.

It's a why even bother situation, you report the ads and the content and the bots. They do nothing about it.

The echo chambers that are being created! People are only listening to those who agree with them thus validating their opinion. Even when their opinion is racist/ sexist/ hateful.

When people don't bother to read into comments and, either take what you said out of context, or basically repeat what you wrote but spin it like you said the complete opposite.

USA defaultism, is way up there, too.

people that refuse to listen to anything. they only care about their clearly biased opinion. like those scientologists who spend every waking hour of every day whining and whining about how "this and that isn't real even though a person with a masters degree says it is because this one lady on facebook said it wasn't" etc etc despite literal RESEARCH that people spent their life on being WAVED IN THEIR FACE.

On a similar but different note, I find it's how people convey facts in a condescending, insulting tone. I know, at least for myself, that my automatic reaction is to become defensive and feel deep shame to admit I'm wrong when I'm told I should know this and that, and be called an idiot. In that situation, to admit I'm wrong is to also claim the "idiot" remark. If someone told me the straight up facts or tell me I'm mistaken in a constructive way, then I'm more receptive to the correction.

The overall hostility toward opposing view points. You're going to inevitably run into people who disagree with you, so accept it and move on. Getting hostile, threatening, calling someone names, or whatever because they don't agree with your views, regardless of what those views are, is childish.

The disgusting, childish, moronic trolls who wallow in negative attention. They know they're not intelligent enough for any valid argument, so they resort to "nyah nah yah nah nah" toddler talk instead.
