My name is Daniel Sasse, I'm an owner of a dive center and an underwater photographer and videographer. I have 25 years of experience in scuba diving, teaching and photographing wildlife. Protecting our oceans must be our priority since every second breath we take is produced by our oceans.

Nemo's real name is ocellaris clownfish (Amphiprion ocellaris). All anemonefish are protandrous hermaphrodites, meaning they first develop into males and may become females later in life. Anemonefish exhibit phenotypic plasticity when males, females, and juveniles inhabit the same anemone. In an anemonefish social group, the female is the dominant and largest member, followed by the dominant male, while other anemonefish remain non-reproductive.

It takes many hours scuba diving to take sharp pictures of anemonefish because they are always on the move and so is its host the anemone.
