You can absolutely agitate someone without actually committing a crime. The goal here isn’t to inflict pain, but to create just enough maddening inconveniences to make them think, “Why is this happening to me?”

Usually, you would save this as payback for a special someone who wronged you in some way. This is why these people are sharing their methods in a recent Threads post, when a user asked, “What’s something you could do to inconvenience a man, but not necessarily get charged/go to jail for?”

Responses included taking labels off canned goods, hiding an opened carton of milk to stink up a place, and taking away TV power cords, to name a few. Yes, most of these were mean-spirited, but they were also funny because they weren’t malicious enough to cause much suffering or torment.

39 Harmless Ways People Have Inconvenienced Men With Almost Impressive Precision I once dated a guy who wouldn't let me poo at his apartment. One day, he sent me to the store up the street to do it so I took his keys with me and made a copy. Then I'd rush to his house on my lunch break, poo in his toilet and not flush. He never said anything to me but I heard him telling his friend about the phantom pooper.
