Guy Brutally Roasts PETA On Twitter, And People Are Finally Realizing The Truth
Since 1980, PETA has made a name for itself as the number-one authority on animal welfare. UK-based YouTube vlogger Calum McSwiggan, however, wants people to consider otherwise, and recently used a scathing Twitter rant to sound off on the organization’s true colors.
After recent investigations, PETA has come under fire for a lot more than just the scantily clad women they use for marketing. In a March 2017 press release, the Center for Consumer Freedom revealed that PETA euthanized more than 1400 cats and dogs at its Norfolk, Virginia shelter in 2016. PETA defends their animal cruelty actions as ethically and economically necessary, but it’s becoming increasingly clear that their attention-grabbing media presence may be more important to them the animal rights and their lives, too.
McSwiggan’s savage roasts, that has now attracted over 6 thousand respective likes and shares is both shocking and resounding with Twitter users, most of whom had never dared to question PETA before. Follow the entire story and the best roasts below, and weigh in with your views at the end!

Share on FacebookI just assumed it was well known that peta is corrupt and does not practice what it preaches. Give to your local humane society.
It's not just PETA, unfortunately. The Red Cross built 6 homes in Haiti with half a billion dollars. These days I only give to the homeless, hungry people who approach me in the streets all the time.
Load More Replies...And let's not forget when they stole people pets just to prove how many abadoned animals are on the street, and then killed them...
They do that because the reality of their stance is they believe humans should not keep animals as pets, period. They either don't understand or don't care that most people love their pets and care for them like family.
Load More Replies...I've literally heard about this about 15 years ago or so... Man, I'm getting old.
Unfortunately, every generation has to learn it at some point. And cheers! You're not old, just well learned! (I'm with you on that one lol)
Load More Replies...All three people below me are massive idiots.
Load More Replies...If you're an American donate to the ASPCA instead. They're not extremists. Here in DC they, PETA, made a local stink about the "Bald Eagle Cam" last year. And they stand in front of the National Zoo scaring children with signs about how the zoo is slavery, showing pictures of mutilated animals, and trying to dissuade people from going in. Maniacs.
Knew about this for years. But keep on spreading the word that PETA is c**p and actually not free of animal cruelty themselves but still claiming it's better for the animals and all. And as for the human milk part in the Ben&Jerry's tweet, good luck trying to find enough women donating their milk that could actually be used to feed their child/ren or donate to hospitals who provide the donated milk to mothers who have trouble breastfeeding.
Peta is incredibly annoying and just for ruining that photographer's life alone do they deserve to be opposed.
This is hardly news. Hypocrisy exhibit a) The VP Mary Beth Sweetland, who is a diabetic, campaigned for a blanket ban on ALL animal testing. Never mind the fact she relies on insulin that has been tested and made with some animal products, but because she is fighting for the animals, it's ok. Other diabetics can just die I guess.
I'm also a type one diabetic (insulin dependent). You're right that animal testing has allowed us to find treatments that will work for human beings afflicted by diseases like this, but at this point, we also have a breadth of technology that will allow us to leave that behind.

Many man made fibers are made of oil derivatives and when you choose that almond milk over your local milk, you're paying for a product whose main ingredient is grown in drought-ridden California. A gallon of water is used for one single almond and more water is used to obtain the diesel used to ship it to the facilities that grind it, water it down and put it in cartons. Repeating the words "murder" and "pus" in no way makes it more environmentally friendly than my milk, which is produced and processed within my area code.
True. On the other hand. I drink it, not because it's a fad, but because sometimes I'd like to have a bowl of cereal and milk. I can't drink whole milk and I'm allergic to soy. I'm so glad I'm able to have an option. Almond milk is expensive though. I only buy once in a while.
