That's me! I like being around people, but I hate talking to them...
Yep. My aunt was lecturing my mom about letting my 90 year old Grandma have too much sugar and mom said, "She's 90 years old. She can have some sugar. Hell, If she wants to do cocaine, I'm going to let her." LOL
world would be a much better place, if everyone would get this thought from time to time
So sad. When we get old, we become no one. Old people were young once, had dreams, jobs, were worth something in the eyes of the world.
I'm working at a home for the elderly people. I don't think, they are no one. I'm trying to treat them like they deserve. They are the ones that worked, to create the world for us to live in. They are the ones that took care of our bringing up and education. They are the ones that directly face human ( living beings) faith- death. They stepped aside, to give us our moment of being on the top! They have to perish, so there's a future for the ones to come. They've got all of my respect, because in my eyes the elderly in need of help, are the most heroic people alive. The life they are living 24/7 is one of the toughest "24/7 s"! But society tends to be like that, think like that! And the elderly know, that for most others, the are "no one" and mean "nothing". There's way too little money going into care taking of elderly. Nobody is honoring the elderly anymore. I really wonder, what it does to us "younger" ones (subconsciously) that we know about unstoppable going towards their place.

Mr. Bacon's mind certainly does go to some dark places. All of them make me vaguely uncomfortable.
I thought that she was thinking that the reason she's being photographed with the kids is that the parents don't think she'll be around for long.
Every restaurant and retail store I have ever worked. Some customers are just....yeah.

Realism can be very disturbing, we don't like to look at ourselves that closely. BTW Waylon, awesome job of capturing our 21st-century society!
Actually you are right i do see sime similarity, maybe one of the artist's inspiration sources?
