This Stray Cat Accidentally Turned Itself Green
399Kviews
That’s not Photoshop – that’s a real-life green cat that has been stalking the streets of Varna, Bulgaria. Residents stumped by its bizarre color were led on a hunt to find out the secret of its unnatural coloration.
The first suspicion was that someone had played a cruel joke on the cat by painting it green. Residents had even formed a Facebook group to coordinate their search for the culprits. The truth, however, was somewhat less nefarious – it was discovered that the cat had taken a liking to sleeping in a pile of powdered green paint at a local garage.
So far, efforts to capture the cat and clean it or inspect it for health issues have been unsuccessful. However, neither the cat nor its friends seem very bothered by its peculiar coat!

There’s a mysterious green cat roaming the streets of Varna, Bulgaria
At first, concerned residents thought the stray had been the target of a malicious prank
A Facebook group was formed to search for the culprit
The truth turned out to be a bit less sinister, however…
The cat had been sleeping on a bag of powdered green paint at a local garage!
The cat seems not to mind the color, and neither does her friend
The paint may have left negative side-effects, but no one’s been able to catch the cat to check

Somebody should really rescue this cat. He/she is keeping her tongue outside his/her mouth that means there are some health issue.
I concur: Cats are meticulous, self-grooming often: This poor soul is ingesting toxic paint products & may die if someone doesn't intervene!
Some cats have strange bites and their tongues can stick out naturally. It could also be the cat is sick...hard to rell if it's not caught.
Could it be the cat is stressed by having someone with a camera following it around?
my cat always has his tongue out of his mouth. what's the Problem? we check him yearly -> healthy. maybe it's just an age appearance
Hello? He could be licking his fur with his tongue...that is the concern....that he could be consuming toxic paint!
You mean "capture the cat" :))
They said they have tried to catch it but can't
They obv havnt tried hard enough to catch kitty.... seriously , Lions can be captured people!
should have hired Arya or that.
Seriously.. "Tried"? It's really not that difficult to catch even those most rambunctious of cats.
She could be named Jade.

Please look after the green cat. She needs care or else will poison herself with the paint on her fur. If only we live in the same country.
Yes, this cat needs to be rescued for a thorough check up.
