In Tyler's defense, sometimes it's easier to help strangers, especially when it's at your job and you're getting paid for it.

Of course, we are all assuming Grams is a sweet old lady but who actually knows how it really is at home. Maybe Tyler has tried to teach nana how to google something because he can't always be around or maybe he's late for work. So weird how everyone assumes Tyler is jobless or maybe he isn't old enough to get a job. Plus, he dresses in all black so of course, people are assigning him personality traits unfairly because of media representation. He must be a bad kid if he dresses in black, like a villain. Maybe Grammy is a demanding, verbally insulting and her grandson can't ever please her, unlike a kid who is paid to be nice to her for 5 minutes, wonder how many times Tyler has heard "Why can't you be like..." Pretty judgemental group of commenters here.

Tyler might be trying to "teach a man (or grandma)" to fish. When you do things for other people that they could for themselves with a little effort, it perpetuates dependency. When you really care about someone, you want to see them grow and be independent. OTOH, when some stranger at work needs help you don't think about how empowering it would be for her to be able to buy her own bulk foods. You just help her out cause, hey, it's what you're getting paid for.

Don't get me wrong, but I live with a technically impaired parent who just won't learn to navigate the internet just coz "I'm always around"

I would bever be rude to my grandma because she is sweet .But in Tyler,s defence gran seems to give him a hard time.Just because u dont get youre grandkids does not mean they will change overnight just cause you complained in public:)
