Artist Can’t Eat Sweets Due To Health Problems So He Creates Them From Porcelain Instead
15Kviews
Shayna Leib is an American glass blowing artist, who creates intricate and unique pieces of art. Her latest project "Pâtisserie" was created to express the importance, beauty, power and ... unattainability of desserts.
Shayna can't have desserts because of very severe dietary restrictions so she had to train her mind to see these intricate sweets as shapes, form, rather than food. The artist combined her love for glass and porcelain when creating these mouth-watering sculptures.

The tuile appears to be crisp and delicate as if it would nearly dissolve in the mouth. I looks as if you could dig in to the ganache beyond the light fluffy whipped cream and swirl a spoon into the gooey glaze. WOW! I want to eat it.

I wish to find the Patisserie where I can indulge in the actual food versions of each of these delightful desserts. As it is my imagination is making my mouth water.
What do you think ?
Spellcheck on headline!
I feel like I couldn't afford one of these desserts if it was real, and I really couldn't afford one of these amazing sculptures!
p.s. Would be awesome if some enterprising chefs created edible ones to put alongside the sculptures.
Imagine having one of these on your table. And someone unknowingly tries to eat it... :D
