In order to counter missiles from North Korea, a lifesize model of Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn was installed in Odaiba in 2017.
The 19.7 meter (64ft) tall mecha is prepared to transform into Destroy Mode and punch North Korean missiles out of the sky.
Until that time it is needed Unicorn Gundam can be seen transforming from Unicorn to Destroy mode several times a day with clips and music from the anime.
The Unicorn Gundam model replaced the earlier classic model which had been put up in 2009 to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the debut of this iconic anime.
