I’m an artist and doll maker and I enjoy sewing dolls inspired by the characters from films, series or books. Recently I started a new doll series inspired by the famous TV series Game of Thrones, because I really can’t wait for the season 6!

My inspiration sources for the dolls are both: the series and the books by George R.R. Martin which I’ve read all.

These are the first 4 characters I’ve made so far (of course I started with my favourite ones): Ygritte, Jon Snow, Khal Drogo and Daenerys.

I’m making dolls for almost three years and I’ve designed my own doll patterns I’m used to work with, though usually I adapt or modify it for each doll. Every doll I make is one-of-a-kind, there are no two equal dolls. Also the clothes are designed specially for each of these dolls.

I love using materials with a story: vintage, found, reclaimed, up-cycled etc. I think they give a special touch to my dolls and also make my creations more eco-conscious, what is important for me. I sew both with sewing machine (body, bigger details) and by hand (smaller details, faces, hair etc.) It takes me approx. 7-9 hours to complete one doll like these.

Now I have a dilemma because I can’t choose the character for the next one! What shall I make?
