As we are (hopefully) approaching the end of the pandemic, spring is in full bloom and the mood is more optimistic. While my sourdough baking days are over, I am still "baking" a new drawing each day. Since the start of the pandemic, drawing has been a great way to deal with stress. As a silver lining, I've rediscovered drawing again. After a long day of endless zoom meetings, it's refreshing to work on a small creative project.
I get inspired by literally anything: a toilet paper roll, talking to friends and family, online shopping, scrolling Facebook, or when reading the news. My original series was "before and after" focused on how our lives have changed during the pandemic, but since then, I've explored a few additional concepts. One new theme I've been excited about is inanimate objects that can talk to each other, for example, what if a face mask could complain to a toilet paper roll about its job? Or what would a chair say to a butt? I found that these objects are perfect metaphors for daily life (or maybe I am losing it from being in the lockdown for too long.) I also like drawing silly charts and puns.
I hope you enjoy this freshly baked batch of drawings! Previous posts: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, and Part 6.

Introverts
No introvert would say this. My life actually not changed a lot since the pandemic.
Yeah I've loved being away from people! but there are apparently different levels of introverts. Like some don't like socializing period, while others just recharge from being alone but they do like to socialize sometimes.
Load More Replies...I’m a introvert and I don’t hate people I just don’t like being social or out of the house
Nope. My life is exactly the same as pre-pandemic, except it is actually easier to avoid people now! More places deliver - everything - and it's a lot easier (and acceptable) to be a hermit. Win/win for me.
Ha no it's more like: Before Covid= I hate people After Covid= I hate people more because I've realized how utterly stupid half the population is.
Nope, despite all of the death and disease, I've actually loved the pandemic XD
Nope. Obviously you have no idea what an introvert is made of! The "during covid" is rather: "what a wonderful life! I love it!" =)
Me too! Seeing how humanity dealt with the pandemic (eg novaxxers, negationists, etc) had me lose any remaining faith in people
Load More Replies...Yeah...I am definitely more introverted after COVID, not less. My social batteries drain really easily now.
That's because of all this quality time we have for ourselves, we are used to now x')
Load More Replies...This is another proof of how extroverts understand ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about introverts.
Nope COVID has made me hate people even more. They couldn't even follow simple instructions because they are too selfish and entitled and now we will be in a pandemic for a long time. Perhaps the virus should just erased all of human life we are the real virus to the planet.
I am not an introvert and I am still not to fond of people! Before and after Covid! :)

Drained
Wait till you have to start putting real shoes on, that's gonna take at least fifteen minutes; you'll be drained before you leave the house 😂
So we should bear in mind that plagues, wars etc are as old as humans. We've survived worse and we can survive this. Be kinder to people and we can get through this Panda's.
Covid isn't the bubonic plague or WWII. If we don't get through this, I would lose all faith in humanity. All of it. But what you say is true. Be nicer, kinder, and we can get through this. :) Have a nice day!!!
Load More Replies...If you miss people I got the perfect cure: Just look at Boredpanda at threads about "customers, anti-vaxxers, covidiots, Trumpfans"
If countries could have got everyone to self isolate for 3-5 weeks, at once, we could have got rid of covid, and a load of other communicable illnesses too. But no, people wanted their freedom.
Exactly what qualifies you to come to this conclusion .it doesn't make sense scientifically . this is a virus that spread. Staying home isn't going to do much
Load More Replies...I live in South Australia and we have BARELY been affected. We had a false alarm 2 day lockdown and that was it haha. Gyms closed for 2 weeks. Just have to scan a QR code when entering businesses and use common sense with distance and that's about it
