This pretty much applies to everything that we use everyday. Kitchen, clothing, shoes, furniture, etc. Save up for an expensive product that you know will get a lot of use instead of just buying the cheapest one and end up having to replace it for the better quality one and spending more. You will always get what you pay for.
That depends what you are buying. There are lots of "goods" of most questionable quality that is expensive and that is not only clothes.
