Either for work or fun, I have drawn every day for as long as I can remember. When in 2012 I gave birth to our newborn baby, it was very natural for me to reach for a pencil and do my funny doodles. It was a wonderful, magical, challenging, knackering first year.
Each day of being a mom seemed to bring with it a new challenge or breathtaking developmental milestone. I didn’t want to forget any of it, even the silliest everyday problems. I’d scribble things down as my baby napped. It was often cathartic to make light of situations that were often challenging at the time. By the end of the first year of having a child, I realized I had amassed quite a pile of funny drawings. Badgered by friends and family, I decided to try and get them published and tell my story of raising a kid.

we have to many homeless children as it is. people should start adopting.
As an adopted child, let me thank you with all my heart for this statement. THANK YOU!
My boyfriend is adopted haha I really think we need to take responsibility for those parentless children.
Apparently, you can now have a uterus transplant. why would you pay to have someone else's uterus when you could just adopt? i'm thirteen and i plan on adopting all of my kids
Zomg! I think so too! I actually want to adopt :) and I'm only 30
Parenting has forced me to learn how to be more emotionally independent. If I want "me" time, I have to take it, not whine for it.
Life with children is so much fun! So much enjoyment! It is worth the battle in the first year.
