The "joke" is that Huawei is a Chinese brand, and the Chinese government would very much like to pretend that the '89 Tiananmen Square mássácre didn't happen. No one díed, what a slanderous thing to say!!! My ex's parents are Chinese immigrants and even though they had emigrated to the US by '89, they kept up with what was happening in China. The Chinese government still, to this day, actively censors any mention of the protests and the mássácre and has tried to erase it from public memory.

The Japanese didn't quite capture Thailand though. There was a hasty military alliance which made Thailand a nominal Axis member, allowing Japanese forces to proceed towards Myanmar.

I don't know if it's relevant, but I have heard that the Holy Roman Empire (left?) was neither Holy, Roman, nor an Empire. The one at right is Byzantine Greek? Oh, I see, the Byzantines are the descendents of the eastern Roman Empire.

😬 man, the fact we can be so casual/"humourous" about the loss of lives of others; the existence of nations/societies/families/cultures/ethnicities/people.....just people in general. This is truly a broken world. -coming from perhaps the most broken country; who *should know better*...the supposed "united" states of america. I have so little respect for this country, no, I will not capitalize the name.
