In case you didn’t know humor and comics are something that pretty much go hand in hand 99% of the time, whether it would be something wholesome and sweet or even dark and eerie, comic authors never fail to bring out a reaction from us. One of those said artists is no other than Leighton Luckey who is the author of "Trying Times Comics." Leighton’s comics are perfect for those of you who need a temporary break to put your worries aside.
So yes, if you need a good distraction from all negative news, well, you’ve come to the right place. If by any chance you’d like to see more of Luckey’s comics, you can find them by clicking here and here.
With all of that said, scroll down to see Leighton’s newest work and let us know what you think in the comments below, Pandas!

When it comes to talking about himself, here's what the author of the comics had to say on his website, "Trying Times Comics was born out of, well, these trying times. Some time into the great quarantine, I needed a little more creative expression and a little more connection to the outside world so I chose comics.
I hope that if you found your way here I've helped brighten your day, even just a little."
In a previous interview with Bored Panda, when asked how the artist would describe Trying Times Comics to someone who isn't familiar with it, the artist said this: "Trying Times Comics is about nerd life, relationships, and these trying times. That's kinda the tagline I'm going with at least. But more specifically it's about my personal interests, conversations/situations I have with my wife and friends (and cat), and whatever else is going on around me."
Happens with cats, too. Wake up to a well-chewed catnip mouse under your chin. But at least the Kitty was happy.
As a Ohioan, I approve of this statement. (It is currently snowing in April over here)
Another Ohioan, we're April's running April Fools day joke.
Load More Replies...Yeah, as a Texan. The only thing we want iced is our tea in summer. Although I do like snow, not ice in winter.
Load More Replies...You guys have had it rough the last few years.
Load More Replies...Love the President W reference (Fool me once... Well can't get fooled again)
As a Texan I approve of this. And I lived in Indiana for 4 years. I guess I had got used to there cold.
in Texas, as soon as ur ready to have winter, the sun blazes every day and u never get a drop of snow
Growing up as a kid in Montreal each Halloween we had to figure out a costume that would fit over a snow suit.
You can never be just spiderman, it always had to be spiderman with a coat
Load More Replies...As a Texan I say yeah except we don’t go out unless there is snow then we try not to freeze as seen I picture above
Texas weather does what it wants, it can be hot one day then cold the next. It could be chilly cold need a coat weather for a few days then hot the next. But when it gets freezing it's important to drip your faucet and open up the cabinets and wrap your pipes in Texas
As a born and bred Ohioan, who has lived the past 30 years in Misery (I mean Missouri) I gotta say you've pretty much nailed it!lol
I was passing Texas the surroinding states when Blizzard Storm Ida hit. It was pretty at first till night hit and things became a nightmare.
One of my favorite mixed metaphors ahhh W who'd a thought we'd miss him?
Snowing at this very moment in Maine and I'm wearing a bathing suit no lie w all my windows open because my house w the heat off is 74 degrees and I'm sweating my butt off thats maine for u!
As an Okie who used to live in Ohio, this is very accurate, and temperatures in Oklahoma vary from the -10s C to the +40s C in a single year. If that and the tornadoes can't kill us, nothing can.
You forgot us Floridians who would be holed up in our houses with the heat on, sweats on, and cover to our noses in blankies.
We don't usually get snow in April in the Lower Mainland area of British Columbia, but we had some a few days ago. And I've gone out in January with a t-shirt in times past. I can empathize about the weather. The phrase here is never say never.
