J. L. Westover aka Mr. Lovenstein describes his comics as "Sad, pathetic, and sarcastic but in a funny way." He will be celebrating eight years of running this show this year, and you should honor it, too.
The artist said that he's interested in the ways we find humor in things that generally cause us a lot of stress and pain for his funny comics. "We seek laughter when we’re suffering," he told Bored Panda. "I like to explore that suffering and isolate what’s so damn funny about it. Why do we find cringe funny? Why do bad movies make us laugh? I also find life to be utterly absurd and you can show how absurd it is with minimal effort."
There are, however, themes you won't come across in Mr. Lovenstein dark humor comics. Specifically, anything that isolates a group to ridicule them. "I steer clear of racism, sexism, and any other evil ism's out there. There's enough hate in the world."
"When someone resonates with my work, it's perhaps the single most gratifying part of creating anything," the artist added. "It’s hard to speak for my audience, but I think they’re overall lovers of black comedy. I could get all philosophical and introspective, but above all else I make jokes, and people like to laugh. Maybe if you scratch below the surface of these morbid jokes, some are drawn to the tinge of sadness, the absurdism, and the utter silliness of it all."
The pressure to create something new and good on a regular basis, and being broke are a few things that Mr. Lovenstein has to fight against constantly, but let's hope he continues his quest, producing many more stories filled with his dark sense of humor. this is true there are tons of good paintings and sculptures that usually oversaw but there are also crappy ones which done under the influence of something that magically sold for tons of money that you can't even comprehend how they categorized it as art.I'm sad for those artists that has talent but never given credits for their works.

Has anyone seen that comics, in which first image is showing all various birds singing from the point of view of a men. In second frame, from the point of view of birds they are shouting abuses and sex favors from each other.. best one ever!

This is actually a legit wondorous event because pandas 1)are only capable of mating like literally several days a year(females) 2)for reasons unknown to humanity, do not seem to understand how they are supposed to mate. I'm serious, look it up - one of the reasons pandas are endangered is they're having so much trouble reproducing, and that's mostly because they're having so much trouble simply having sex...they're basically witnessing a 1 in hell-knows-how-many miracle ;P
