Meet Ah Fei, a hilariously cute cat that has captured the internet’s hearts for his incredibly expressive and dramatic facial expressions. Rescued from the streets by his new owner, Ah Fei, which means ‘fat’ in Mandarin, is a sweet, silly cat that loves his food.

Laziness aside, Ah Fei is nevertheless very responsive to stimuli, with his feelings about the stick being waved in his face, or the food being taken away from him, clear for all to see. Ah Fei lives his drama queen life in Jiangsu, China, where he and his owner Tang Chang hang out and play all kinds of games. Many of which do, however, seem designed to get the latest meme-worthy expression out of this famous cat though!
If we didn’t know better, we’d assume that the poor kitty was in a constant state of stress, terror and disappointment. It clearly doesn’t take much to get Ah Fei worked up. Get that disgusting feather away from me, vile human!
Whatever this dog is trying to do to that pig, Ah Fei is clearly unimpressed. Joy? Happiness? Frolicking with other animals? Give me a break…
To be fair to Ah Fei, I’d be pretty pissed off too if this was happening to me at dinnertime. Just give me the pork already!
People around the world have got the feels for this gloriously grumpy Internet celebrity, and Ah Fei even has some fan art in his honor. And while he may seem a bit irritable at times, we are sure that he is perfectly content with his new life together with a loving owner and a comfy place to call home.

I have a dog that could be the first catdog and a child that is his dual spirit animal. The stories I could tell and make money off of... After much thought, I'd rather my son enjoy his time with his dog/cat without any interference. They are 3/2/1 of a kind that I'm thankful to be a mother of.

Many here do not use their brains. Provoked? By a feather? Seriously? This is called playing, ergo a NECESSARY EXERCISE for your cat, mentally and physically. If none of you do this to your cat then you clearly don't want a healthy cat.

Taking photos of a nuts cat is one thing but staging them and actually trying to torment that cat or any animal is B.S. try doing that I'm my greatly messed up state and they'll charge you with animal cruelty in a heart beat.

For all the ignants in this thread who think this cat is stressed because of his ears, this cat has some Scottish Fold in him, and that's how their ears sit naturally.

Your kitty is obviously stressed. Putting him in an ongoing stressful environment to provoke more reactions is cruel and abusive. He needs calm, a lot of compassion, patience and peace.

Sorry, but that cat is not happy. The cat is not expressing happiness with that damn feather being stuck in his face, or the person teasing him with food. Seems the only time the cat got any peace or contentment is when he was asleep.

This is not trolling but a sad fact of life in China.Buy anything with fur,even if it says fake fur,and you will find cat´s hair mixed in with the product.....mules,gilets,hoodies w fur-trim etc. I went once to the open market in Macau and found many cages with plump,adorable puppies for sale...not for pets,but food...I felt sick and it has stayed in my mind for 16 years

The comments section here ruined this post. Which one would you rather happen to the cat? Hungry on streets with no one to take care of it or "tormented" once while getting food and shelter? If the cat is smart enough it would obviously choose the latter. Dumbasses...
