Our pets like their vets just as much as we love our dentists. Our precious furballs may hide in the house, put their nails in the backseat of the car, but some appointments are simply inevitable. Bored Panda has compiled a list of some of the funniest expressions animals had after their procedures, to show you that vets aren't their friends.
Some are coming down from their medication, some have already entered the "I will never forgive you" phase, but all of these reactions imply there's something dishonest about that owner-pet relationship. At least when it comes to visiting the animal clinic (maybe they would feel differently if they could read the humorous signs some of them put up?). Guys calm down! It was to help the dog, not harm it. If they can't find the tick this must be done. Tick related diseases kill dogs. I'm sure the owner and the vet put the dogs life ahead of it's coat. ( EYEROLL!)

Why shaving the whole dog? Can't the vet shave the spot where the tick is(don't tell me you can't locate it, that must be why you went to the vet in first place)? Or learn how to remove them yourself, it saves a lot of money, time and stress for the dog, you know.

Dogs like huskies the coat is so thick it's hard to see any other ticks that might be hiding if the dog lives in a country where there are tick diseases it's important or the ticks are removed or the dog will get more sick

Bless you for looking after your dog right. Lot of people don't realize how much healthier cats are after being de-sexed. Specially males. Unfixed males get into lots and lots of fights, and can get diseases from them, as well as the injuries.

All dogs should have seatbelts they have them for dogs it clips into your regular seatbelt clips. But usually people just leave them loose so if they crash they can watch fido fly through the windshield.

Same reasons a doctor might prescribe Xanax to humans, such as anxiety. If a pet has anxiety they can't 'work it off'. A vet isn't going to prescribe it for no reason.

We're laughing about pets but when I came out from an anesthesia myself after a surgery I remember asking another patient in my hospital room a straw for my juice in this "Dddhhooo ya havvvvveeee annnnt straaaaaw f-f-f-fooor ma' juuuuice?' way. And my ex-boyfriend was near me, I remember him saying "darling, please lay down, you need to sleep". And then later when I woke up I asked if I acted weirdly in any way when coming out of anesthesia and he said 'No, nothing, everything was cool.' So it was THAT embarrassing he didn't want me to know. So let's laugh at those poor animals now, because we are more like them than we would ever want to agree! Cheers! P.S.At least I can relate to almost any post:)

I looked like some of these cats when I first woke from a colonoscopy. The doctor was standing over my bed with his hands on his hips, and the first words out of his mouth were... "Mr P...., you have an exceptionally long colon." I thanked him. To this day I wonder whether I was listening to the drugs... or maybe it was just his way of saying... "Mr P....., I think you're full of s**t."

When I got my crazy wild cat at the vet after a surgery he came out of his cage yawning as if he'd had a cat-spa and was eating dry cat food straught from the vet's hands, I just couldn't believe my eyes. Now I know. He must have still been drugged.

My niece was worried about her dog not moving after an emergency vet visit. Her parents and I had to reassure her several times that the dog was fine, just stoned out of her mind.
