Ingredients: A few hours, a hot glue gun, and stuff that has meaning to my daughter. Result: A fun inspirational clock (I hope she likes it!)

Fun, inspirational clock I made for my daughter who is getting her Masters in Creative Writing.

First, I painted the base and the back of the clock with black chalkboard paint.

Found some old rhinestone jewelry…

I glued most of the stuff with a hot glue gun.

I bought the clock used on craigslist. Painted some old boxes black and glued them underneath the clock. Old typewriter keys, sea glass from Maine, lots of small items that have meaning for her.

Found this tiny frame from Michaels. It opens up easily and the image can be replaced with a photo of her boyfriend :-)
