Guy Gets Too Close To Wild Fox While Snapchatting It, And Now He Wishes He Hadn’t
There’s a reason why people say “sly as a fox.” With a beautiful coat and a bushy tail, these animals look gorgeous on the outside but carry a lot of hidden intentions on the inside. And wouldn’t you know it, when this guy encountered one of them in the middle of the street, he decided to snapchat the rare occasion. The animal, however, had a trick up its fur that caught the dude completely off-guard.

No wonder the little fox felt guilty, hiding in the bushes

Next morning, however, fate had rewarded the guy for the effort he put into the chase

Yes, I always leave my wallet laying on the ground too *rolleyes*.
I do have a habit of placing stuff on the ground I've previously had in my hands if I need to tie my laces/want to take a quick photo etc. Totally can see myself doing this as I love foxes.
How come you're surprised? Internet is now the same as TV. Everything is scripted and fake. Seeing as there is money and fame involved this sort of thing is inevetable.
Yes, indeed.
During an arguement with my second wife she told me "Don't you roll your eyes at meeeee!"
Trying to pat a wild animal is quite dumb to begin with. And losing a wallet is the least of possible issues, it could've bitten and infected him with rabies or whatnot. Foxes are in the highest risk group in regards to that iirc. Do not follow this guy's example.
But not really in Britain.
The what now? "your culture" Aww, ain't you cute. Stupid to vaccinate against something that haven't been a problem for humans since 1902 in Britain, and where the disease carriers are pretty non existent. Handlers and other high risk individuals get vaccinated, the average person don't need it.
I would have agreed 20 years ago but are you making sure all of the rats that are arriving through the chunnel are rabies negative? Even after living in England for 3 years in the late 70's and 3 years in the late 80's, I just don't understand why your culture has an aversion to rabies inoculations. Accidents do happen, and it seems best to be protected.
Britain doesn't have rabies!
Raccoons and Bats are actually the highest risk factor, but it’s stupid to pet a wild animal never less unless you want to be bitten
I agree with that "Trying to pat a wild animal is quite dumb to begin with". Just that. Foxes ares really common in London, since human take all places everywhere. Good for him, now he will let foxes alone, without cams for pride. LET THEM GOOOOOOOOOO
Actually same problem with deer. They can be angry buggers, also carries a lot of parasites and other stuff like ticks which you suddenly have a load of.
I used to live in a small town in New Mexico called Ruidoso, and the deer are quite tame there. Although I agree that patting wild animals can be dumb, my family had a residential deer herd that came to our door and allowed us to pet them. Foxes, however, are a different story.
Foxes are nocturnal animals. A fox seen in broad daylight should be feared, as it may have rabies. This looks to be early morning, so maybe he was safe, or he could just be lucky.
A UK city or rural fox seen in daytime is likely to be very hungry but certainly not a rabies carrier!
My thoughts were the same. At first, I thought he would get bitten and it would turn out to be rabies fox, but nope...
Nice example for unlimited human stupidity. *sigh*
