I design and fold my own original Star Wars origami models, and have recently finished drawing diagrams for one of my latest creations, which can be downloaded for free from my website.

BB-8, a key character from Star Wars Episode VII, is made from 16 identical squares of paper. It is assembled from 4 different types modules, which lock together with no glue or adhesive of any kind. The face units are folded in such a way that the coloured side of the origami paper creates his distinctive pattern.
